Nadine Smith is the Director of CPI (Centre for Public Impact) UK and a former civil servant who worked at the centre of UK government at the intersection of policy, politics and communications. She has spent the last five years working to educate governments worldwide about building more trusted human governments. Her experience in communication, citizen engagement and policy has led her to discover new methods for listening so that empathy and relationships are formed for the long term. She speaks and writes about effective and legitimate government, and is a Fellow of the Westminster Abbey Institute exploring the purpose of government with civil servants and public service leaders in the UK.
