Building Back Better, Together: The role of government and start-ups in the Covid-19 recovery
As a part of the Government After Shock event, the Nova Scotia Outpost for Public Sector Innovation (OPIN) and Volta are co-hosting a virtual panel discussion on government leveraging startups in the COVID-19 recovery effort.
The discussion will focus on procurement processes and procedures, experiences from both the business community and public sector, and discuss potential for a new path forward. This is an opportunity to learn how and why startups and government work the way they do, and what a more productive relationship might look like in the future.
About OPIN
The Outpost for Public Sector Innovation is focused on transforming how the public service thinks about and solves Nova Scotia’s most pressing complex problems. OPIN’s team of multidisciplinary professionals work across departments to improve outcomes for citizens by experimenting with, and building capacity for, emerging approaches and tools designed to achieve greater public value in service and program delivery.
