Silver linings: beyond the silos

Emerging from COVID-19: Working towards a connected future for the Northern Territory.

COVID-19 is teaching us that connecting across all sectors in society is not only possible, it’s how we must work for a better future.

Join us on Tuesday 17 November 2020 to hear about inspiring and creative responses to COVID-19 challenges and how the public sector and its partners are working together in new ways. We will explore the silver linings from 2020 with a focus on collaborating across sectors to meet people’s basic health, education, cultural and economic needs.

Our event is designed to inspire curious, bold and far reaching conversations and thinking.

We will showcase snapshot experiences from COVID-19, followed by speakers who share insights and explore what mindsets, structures and ways of working are needed in the public sector and beyond, as well as actions we can take to shape a flourishing society of the future, as we emerge from COVID-19.

A panel discussion in the second part of the event will explore what government should leave behind (from pre-COVID-19 times), what should continue and what should be done differently into the future across sectors.

Register today to gain an insight into what is possible when people and organisations from all sectors connect and collaborate across old organisational ‘boundaries’ to find new ways of doing things, and what this can mean for the future.

Join the event 15 minutes before the start time to get a sneak peek into the people and places of the Northern Territory of Australia. We welcome you!
