Agile government responses to the COVID-19 pandemic in the Arab region: what are we learning for a better future
Event Navigation

The COVID-19 crisis caused abrupt changes to the way people lived, businesses operated and public administrations worked, both in terms of services being operational and civil servants working remotely. This event will present and discuss government responses to the crisis from the Arab region. It will seek answers from what we have learned and are still learning, in particular in which areas more government investment is needed and how governments can do better for the future.
The event is part of the Government After Shock Event initiated by the OECD – Observatory for Public Sector Innovation (OPSI) and will be hosted by OECD / SIGMA (a joint initiative of the OECD and the EU, principally financed by the EU), the United Nations Department for Economic and Social Affairs (Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for West-Asia (ESCWA Office in Beirut).
